About Mehaffey Tree Farm

We are a North Carolina Christmas tree farm located in western North Carolina in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our fraser firs love the climate of Haywood County and the Great Smoky Mountains as much as we do.

We have been a family owned and operated tree farm since 1984. Prior to opening the tree farm, portions of the land were used as pastures for cattle, the family garden, and tobacco crops. The history of the farm location is long going back over 100 years. On the edge of the tree fields, one can see a renovated house that we own dating back into the 1800s. 

Since 1984, we have been growers of fraser firs. In addition, we open our farm to families for retail Choose & Cut for a few weeks during the year. We have seen families grow up with us as generations visit us annually.  Our tree farm takes pride in growing our trees and providing the highest quality frasers and services to our customers, many of whom feel like family to us.
